TRAINING - Safety is very important for everyone. You don’t want an injury to occur on your project and neither do we. All of our personnel go through a thorough safety training and orientation program upon hire and we don’t stop there. We have regularly scheduled mandatory safety meetings in addition to on-site safety discussions, called “toolbox talks”. We follow all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and National Roofing Contractor Association (NRCA) guidelines and recommendations. Our roofing craftsmen are provided with all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and are required to use it. DRUG-FREE - In addition to our safety training procedures, all our field employees are required to pass a drug test, to help assure a safe and drug-free workforce. Statistics show that employees having problems with drugs and alcohol have a higher rate of accidents. Any person impaired on a job site is a danger to himself and to fellow workers. In addition, substance abusers are absent more often and get less work accomplished, and the quality of their work suffers. For these and other reasons, drugs and alcohol have absolutely no place in our company. EXPERIENCE - The experience of our workforce also assures that the people working on your job understand the hazards of roofing and take the appropriate measures to work intelligently to avoid these hazards. Our safety record is among the best in the industry, proven by our very low insurance company “experience modification factor” (the lower the modification factor the better).
